Cheap cars are fun cars.

Had a short holiday to Broome last week, my partner and I hired a Suzuki Vitara from a guy that we used the last time we were there. 50 dollars a day, no strings attached, free chairs, beach umbrella and esky thrown in the back to use. Perfect.

It was worn out, rusty in places, dinged, faded paint and the brakes screeched a lot, but it was the most fun I’ve had in ages. It nearly fell over going around corners, but it got onto the beaches without any problems and the aircon was cold. It reminded me why I was building the wagon on a budget again, to get out there and have an absolute whale of a time.
